		<description>Hi
Pretty interesting topic. The Ontario curriculum includes a category of assessment called communication the others being Knowledge Understanding, Inquiry, Application or Making Connections. As part of the communication category I was looking for new ways of dealing with the segment. The article WebQuest did interest me and it outlines a lot of interesting aspects. However it is never a complete method of education especially teaching science. So as part of the communication assignment I engaged them in reading a scientific article. A link to the article was posted on the blog.
They were expected to
1. write a summary of the article.
2. Write their opinion on the topic
3. Respond to one of the comments on 2.

This is a work in progress and I find that the students showed a lot of interest as they were comfortable working with new technology, work at their own pace, work at home, work from any place at any time. Mostly the response is good. I have yet to evaluate the whole experiment and come up with modifications so that other staff at the place I work could implement.

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for in terms of your &quot;problem&quot;
Since the topic was interesting I thought I would comment on it.
Regards
